1- CARPET FEATURES

The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton, and the knots are wool yarn. The yarns are entirely handmade using a kirman (drop spindle). The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with madder (root dye), meaning natural materials. For example, to achieve red color, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this way are called madder-dyed yarns. Carpets made from madder-dyed yarns gain a brighter appearance with use. Furthermore, this carpet is a top-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; this feature makes it more durable and gives it a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 300,000 hand-knots were made in the weaving of this carpet.

2- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
