1- FEATURES OF THE RUG

The weft and warp knots of this rug are made of wool and cotton. The yarns were also produced entirely by hand using a spindle. Furthermore, this rug is of top quality in terms of weaving density and was woven using the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Iranian rugs. Finally, approximately 1,500,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this rug.

2-CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Rug cleaning varies depending on the rug's material and the type of dirt. No rug shampoo or detergent containing chemicals should be used to clean this rug. If any liquid is spilled on this rug, the area should first be blotted thoroughly with a paper towel; then, the area should be wiped with a cloth using the lather of white bar soap. It should also be remembered that immediate intervention is crucial when something is spilled on the rug. If the spilled liquid remains on the rug for a long time without being wiped, the stain will penetrate the warp, making it much more difficult to remove. Finally, we recommend that you entrust the washing of this rug to a professional rug cleaner you trust who specializes in hand-woven rugs.
