1- CARPET FEATURES
The weft and warp knots of this carpet are wool and cotton. The yarns were also produced entirely by hand using a drop spindle. Moreover, this carpet is a top-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,500,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

2- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Carpet cleaning varies depending on the material of the carpet and the type of dirt. For cleaning this carpet, carpet shampoo or detergent containing chemical substances should not be used. If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, first thoroughly dry the affected area with a paper towel; then, lather a white bar of soap and wipe the affected area with a cloth. It should also be remembered that immediate intervention is very important when something is spilled on the carpet. If the spilled liquid remains on the carpet for a long time without being wiped, the stain will penetrate the warp and become much harder to remove. Finally, we recommend entrusting the washing of this carpet to a professional carpet cleaner you trust and who specializes in hand-woven carpets. If you reside in Istanbul, you can contact us for carpet cleaning.
