The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton knots, New Zealand wool, and bamboo yarn. The yarns are also entirely produced by hand using a drop spindle. Moreover, this is a top-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 750,000 hand knots were made in the weaving of this carpet.
