1- CARPET FEATURES

The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton and the knots are wool yarn. The yarns are also completely handmade using a spinning wheel. The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with madder, that is, natural materials. For example, to obtain the color red, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this way are called madder-dyed yarns. Carpets made from madder-dyed yarns gain a brighter appearance with use. On the other hand, this carpet is a high-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, in other words, the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Iranian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,000,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

2-CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, the affected area should first be thoroughly rinsed with a paper towel; then, white bar soap should be lathered and wiped with a cloth.
