The warp and weft of this carpet are made of cotton, with knots of wool and bamboo yarn. The yarns are also entirely hand-made using Kirman. Furthermore, this carpet is a high-quality carpet in terms of its density, woven using the Turkish knot technique, also known as the double knot technique. This feature makes it more durable and has a longer lifespan than Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,200,000 hand-knotted yarns were used in the weaving of this carpet.

2-CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Carpet cleaning varies depending on the carpet's material and the type of dirt. Do not use carpet shampoos or detergents containing chemicals when cleaning this carpet. If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, the affected area should first be thoroughly rinsed with a paper towel, then lathered with white soap and wiped with a cloth. It's also important to remember that immediate action is crucial when spilling something on your carpet. If the spilled liquid remains on the carpet for an extended period without being wiped, the stain will set into the warp and become much more difficult to remove. Finally, we recommend that you have this carpet cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner you trust who specializes in hand-woven carpet cleaning. If you live in Istanbul, please contact us for carpet cleaning services.
