The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton, and the knots are made of wool yarn. The yarns are entirely produced using a spindle by hand. The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with natural dyes, meaning natural materials. For example, to obtain the red color, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this way are called natural-dyed yarns. Carpets produced from natural-dyed yarns become brighter with use. On the other hand, this carpet is a high-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 210,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

2-CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, first thoroughly dab the affected area with a paper towel; then, lather a white bar of soap and wipe the affected area with a cloth.
