2- HISTORY OF THE CARPET

Hereke carpet is a traditional hand-woven carpet produced in the Hereke district of Turkey, which held an important place during the Ottoman Empire period. In the 19th century, especially during the reign of Sultan Abdülmecid, Hereke carpets gained great fame.

Today, Hereke carpets can be seen in the Beylerbeyi, Çırağan, and Dolmabahçe palaces. Although there are various pattern types, the most well-known pattern is the Yedidağ's flower pattern.

3- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
