2- HISTORY OF THE CARPET

The Hereke carpet is a traditional hand-knotted carpet produced in the Hereke district of Turkey, which gained significant importance during the Ottoman Empire. In the 19th century, especially during the reign of Sultan Abdülmecid, Hereke carpets gained great fame.

Today, Hereke carpets can be seen in the Beylerbeyi, Çırağan, and Dolmabahçe palaces. Although there are various patterns, the most well-known pattern is the "Yedidağ" flower pattern.

3-CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
