The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton, and the knots are wool yarn. The yarns are entirely hand-spun using a spindle. The wool yarns used for the knots are dyed with madder (root dye), meaning natural materials. For example, to achieve red color, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this manner are called madder-dyed yarns. Carpets made with madder-dyed yarns gain a brighter appearance with use. Furthermore, this carpet is a top-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 450,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, the affected area should first be thoroughly rinsed with a paper towel; then, white bar soap should be lathered, and the affected area should be wiped with a cloth.
