1- RUG FEATURES

The warp and weft of this rug are cotton, and the knots are made of wool yarn. The yarns are entirely produced by hand using a drop spindle. The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with natural root dyes. For example, to achieve red, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petal; yarns dyed in this manner are called root-dyed yarns. Rugs made from root-dyed yarns become more lustrous with use. Moreover, this rug is a high-quality rug in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Iranian rugs. Finally, approximately 300,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this rug.

2- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
