1- CARPET FEATURES
The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton, and the knots are made of wool yarn. The yarns are also entirely produced by hand using a spindle. The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with madder, which means natural materials. For example, to achieve the red color, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this manner are called madder-dyed yarns. Carpets made from madder-dyed yarns become brighter with use. On the other hand, this carpet is a high-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,000,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

2- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Carpet cleaning varies depending on the material of the carpet and the type of dirt. Since this carpet is made of wool yarns dyed with madder, carpet shampoo or detergent containing chemical substances should not be used. If any liquid spills on this carpet, first thoroughly dry the affected area with a paper towel; then, lather white bar soap and wipe the area with a cloth. It should also be noted that immediate intervention is very important when something spills on the carpet. If the spilled liquid remains on the carpet for a long time without being wiped, the stain will penetrate the warp and become much more difficult to remove. Finally, we recommend entrusting the cleaning of this carpet to a professional carpet cleaner you trust who specializes in hand-knotted carpets.
