1- CARPET FEATURES

The warp and weft of this carpet are cotton, and the knots are made of wool yarn. The yarns are entirely produced by hand using a drop spindle (kirman). The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with root dyes, i.e., natural materials. For example, to obtain the color red, the wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this way are called root-dyed yarns. Carpets produced from root-dyed yarns acquire a brighter appearance with use. On the other hand, this carpet is a top-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,000,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

3- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, first thoroughly dab the affected area with a paper towel; then, lather white bar soap and wipe the area with a cloth.
