1- CARPET FEATURES

The weft and warp of this carpet are cotton, and the knots are wool yarn. The yarns are also entirely produced by hand using a spindle. The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with natural dyes, meaning natural materials. For example, to obtain the color red, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petals; yarns dyed in this manner are called natural-dyed yarns. Carpets made from natural-dyed yarns become brighter with use. Furthermore, this carpet is a high-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,000,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.

If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, the affected area should first be thoroughly blotted with a paper towel; then, a white bar of soap should be lathered and the affected area wiped with a cloth.
