The warp and weft of this rug are made of cotton, the knots are modal yarn, and the edge overlock and fringe are made of real silk yarn. Furthermore, this rug is of superior quality in terms of weaving density and is woven using the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; this feature makes it more durable and longer-lasting. Finally, approximately 1,760,000 knots per square meter were used in the weaving of this rug.
