The warp and weft of this carpet are made of cotton knots, and the pile is bamboo yarn. The yarns are also entirely produced by hand using a spindle. Furthermore, this carpet is a top-quality rug in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 350,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.
