1- CARPET FEATURES

The weft and warp of this carpet are cotton and the knots are wool yarn. The yarns are also completely produced by hand using a drop spindle. The wool yarns used in the knots are dyed with root dyes, i.e., natural materials. For example, to obtain the color red, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals, and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petal; yarns dyed in this way are called root-dyed yarns. Carpets produced from root-dyed yarns become brighter with use. On the other hand, this carpet is a top-quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, also known as the double knot technique; thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer lifespan compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 1,000,000 hand knots were made in the weaving of this carpet.

3-CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

If any liquid is spilled on this carpet, the relevant part should first be thoroughly rinsed with a paper towel; then, the relevant part should be wiped with a cloth by lathering white bar soap.
