The wool yarns used in nodes are painted using root paint, ie natural materials. For example, to obtain the red color, wool yarns are boiled with rose petals and the thread takes the color of the rose leaves; In this way, the yarns painted are called root paint yarns. Carpets produced from yarns painted with root paint have a brighter appearance as you use it. On the other hand, this carpet is a top quality carpet in terms of woven frequency, and the Turkish node is also woven with a double node technique; Thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer life compared to Iranian carpets. Finally, approximately 700,000 hand node was thrown in the weaving of this carpet.

2- History of the carpet

The emergence of Uşak carpets dates back to the 15th century. As a result of the capitulations that started in this period, our Uşak carpets started to show themselves abroad thanks to the right to trade to the ambassadors who came to the country.

Uşak carpets gained significant importance during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent and new quality and patterns unique to Uşak were woven with the special weaving craftsmen brought by Suleiman the Magnificent from the Azerbaijan region. It is designed by ornament artists and painters in the formation of these patterns. Today, our Uşak carpets are used in homes; It is also exhibited in palaces and museums.
